Disability Awareness

Participants will learn foundational concepts and terminology in providing access to ministry settings for those with varying abilities and needs, specific to your community. 

Understanding & Supporting Behavior

Participants will learn the foundations of managing unexpected and challenging behaviors, as well as proactive strategies to prevent challenging behaviors from escalating.

Team Building & Leadership

Participants will develop skills to effectively work together as a team within the context of their role or ministry. Participants will learn strategies to prevent conflict, navigate unexpected situations, and develop healthy relationships. 

Curriculum Development

Participants will learn how to meet the needs of diverse learners. This training is individualized based on need - from Youth Ministry to Bible Study - and will focus on content.

Accessible Ministry

Participants will learn what makes a physical and emotional space accessible to people with varying disabilities. The training will include opportunities to apply new skills to actual ministry needs. 

Facilitating Small Groups with Diverse Learners

Participants will learn how to foster growth for people with varying disabilities, learning styles, or behavioral needs within the context of their role as a small group facilitator. 

Gospel View of Disability

Participants will learn how to approach Disability Ministry from the lens of the Gospel, including key faith tenets for more accessible faith spaces. 

Volunteer Training

Participants will learn how to support people with varying disabilities within the context of their role as a volunteer. This training includes strategies that can be applied to any Church or Ministry setting. 

Supporting Mental Health in Ministry

Participants will learn about the various impacts mental illness can have on children, teens, or adults and how to promote a healthy approach to faith and relationship with God.

Participants will learn developmentally-relevant social and emotional skills, as well as the inclusive strategies that support the practice and improvement of these skills.

This training is especially great for Teachers and Support Staff.

Curriculum Development

Participants will learn how to meet the needs of diverse learners. This training is individualized based on need - from Private School to Sunday School - and will focus on content.

Executive Functioning Strategies

Participants will learn about executive functioning skills, such as self-regulation, organization, and focus, and learn strategies to promote the development of these skills within the classroom. 

Differentiation

Participants will learn how to meet the needs of students with diverse learning styles, skills, and backgrounds. Participants will develop skills in modifying any lesson, task, or activity.
This training is especially beneficial for classroom teachers who are experiencing an increase in students with IEPs in their classes.

Classroom Management

Participants will learn the key concepts and strategies of a classroom that promotes accessibility, proactive support and tips that are realistic and feasible for any teacher. 

Understanding & Supporting Behavior

Participants will learn the foundations of managing unexpected and challenging behaviors, as well as proactive strategies to prevent challenging behaviors from escalating.

Data Collection & Analysis

Participants will learn how to create a manageable data collection system and how to analyze data for monitoring growth, reporting progress, and making modifications to plans. 
This training is especially great for Teachers with an IEP caseload and provides take-away templates.

Crisis Prevention & Intervention

For Mental Health, Safety, or Security Teams, we offer a 2-Day Crisis Prevention and Intervention Certificate. This training focuses on building a foundation of healthy relationships while navigating and resolving conflict. Participants will learn to de-escalate situations that may occur when serving a population with high stress, trauma, or more significant behaviors. Click the button to learn more.
